What sizes are available?
- We offer three sizes. The Accent ($325) is 18 x 18 inches when square and is ideal for grouping or finishing a wall. The Feature ($475), 24 x 24 inches when square, stands on its own without crowding the space. The Statement ($625) is 30 x 30 inches and commands the room. All prices include our complimentary black wooden frame.
How long does it take to receive my portrait?
- Because these are true oil on canvas works, each piece requires time to create and time to properly cure before it can travel safely. Please allow up to four weeks for delivery. If you really need your portrait sooner, email hello@oiloncanvas.com after placing your order and we'll do our best to help.
Do you ship internationally?
- Yes. International orders may take longer than our standard four-week window depending on your location and local customs processing.
What if my portrait arrives damaged?
- If your portrait arrives damaged, we will remake your artwork at no cost or issue a full refund, your choice. Please let us know within 48 hours of delivery by emailing hello@oiloncanvas.com with your order number and a photo of the damage.
Can I return the portrait once I receive it?
- Because each portrait is custom, once you approve your digital preview, returns are not available. But don't worry, you will have the opportunity during the preview approval process to provide notes to our artistic team.
Can I request revisions?
- Yes. After you place your order, we'll send you a digital preview of your portrait. You can request adjustments before production begins. If you are still unsatisfied after the revised preview, we offer a full refund. Once the preview is approved, full returns are not available.
Are the portraits framed?
- Yes. Your finished portrait arrives ready to hang in a simple black frame that works with any interior and is included with your order free of charge. The frame was chosen to complement the work without competing with it. If you'd like to reframe it alongside an existing collection, that's always an option, and our complimentary frame allows you to do so at your leisure.
How do I care for my portrait?
- Handle it with clean, dry hands, holding by the frame and avoiding the painted surface. Display away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and humidity fluctuations. If dust accumulates, use a very soft dry brush -- never water or cleaning products. Oil paint continues to cure for several months after leaving our studio, so avoid storing it face-down or in a sealed environment during that time. Over many years, professional cleaning or varnishing is normal and expected -- seek a conservator who works with oil paintings when the time comes.
Is this suitable as a gift?
- Absolutely. Our portraits are meaningful for birthdays, holidays, memorials, and pet-related milestones. You can configure a portrait on someone's behalf and include a gift note, or purchase a gift card so the recipient can upload their own photos and place the order at their leisure.
